Deven Price Singleton, age 31, a male from Roanoke, was shot late on the night of May 24, 2025, and died at the scene; public records list his race as Black/African American. Police were called just after 11 p.m. to Glengary Avenue Northwest, where officers found Deven Price Singleton, age 31, with gunshot wounds outside a residence. He was pronounced dead where he fell, and investigators began canvassing the neighborhood as the night deepened.
