On an autumn evening in Roanoke, Virginia, the life of 24-year-old Kenneth Scott Jr., known to his friends as 'Fatz,' was tragically cut short. On Saturday, October 24, 2020, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1300 block of Gayle Street NW. Upon arrival, they found Scott suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
