In the spring of 2016, the life of 11-year-old Khalil Abdullah Lavon Burt was tragically cut short in Roanoke, Virginia. On May 26th, the young male was fatally shot inside a home. The incident was quickly determined to be an accidental shooting, with the shot fired by a 10-year-old. At the time of the incident, it was reported that the two boys were related.
