Mario Swann, 37, a man from Richmond, was found shot on the second-floor landing of an apartment building in the 1100 block of St. Paul Street on the afternoon of August 8, 2025. Officers had been dispatched around 2:25–2:30 p.m. for a report of a person shot. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died later that day.
