Jayvon Coward, a 20-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on February 11, 2021. The incident occurred in Richmond's East End, where Coward was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside his apartment on Coalter Street. Richmond Police responded to the scene just before 6 p.m. and transported Coward to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Medical Examiner confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound.
