On a summer evening in eastern Henrico, Virginia, the life of 29-year-old Ja'Shaun Jermaine O'Neil was tragically cut short. On June 4, 2022, in the 300 block of Buffalo Road, O'Neil was shot. First responders rushed him to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. A friend of O'Neil had to flag down responding officers to direct them to the precise location of the shooting.
