On the evening of May 7, 2015, the life of 22-year-old RaKeem Adkins, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Richmond, Virginia. Around 10:17 PM, Richmond Police officers on patrol in the Mosby Court area heard gunshots. Their investigation led them to the 1900 block of Redd Street, where they discovered Adkins on the sidewalk, suffering from gunshot wounds.
