In the still hours before dawn on September 7, 2025, 27-year-old Eiver Valecillos was found mortally wounded in the 7500 block of Chaucer Place in southern Dallas. Officers arrived at about 1:10 a.m., and Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced him dead at the scene.
