On a late June evening in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 20-year-old I'keyona Bowie Rivers was tragically cut short by an act of gun violence. On or around June 28th or 29th, 2025, I'keyona was involved in a shooting incident that occurred on Interstate 240. The promising young woman, who was born on September 27, 2004, to Ivy Bowie, Jr. and Ayeshia Rivers, became another victim of the city's ongoing struggles with violent crime.
