Corey Adams, 18, was spending a summer Saturday night in Cordova, Tennessee, when gunfire shattered a crowded pool party on July 19, 2025. Just after 10 p.m., deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office were called to Fern Glade Cove. Minutes later, at the nearby intersection of Forest Hill-Irene and Walnut Grove, they found Adams inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound.
