In the early morning hours of August 19, 2016, a tragic event unfolded in Cordova, Tennessee, that claimed the life of 35-year-old Aaron Forbes. An African American male, Forbes was discovered in a vehicle, having been fatally shot. Preliminary investigations pointed towards a targeted attack, suggesting that the shooting was the violent culmination of a dispute with an individual who has yet to be identified.
The Cordova Police Department, in conjunction with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, launched a thorough investigation into the homicide.
