In the early morning hours of July 9, 2025, the community of Kingstree, South Carolina, was rocked by the violent death of 39-year-old Kenneth Nesmith. A Black/African American male, Nesmith was discovered inside a residence on Christopher Road with fatal gunshot wounds.
