In the aftermath of the violence, 16-year-old Edwin Cooper, a male student at Kingstree High School, was found among the victims. The shooting claimed another young life, that of 18-year-old Mycheal Edwards-Wallace, a
recent graduate of Kingstree High School and a promising football talent bound for Newberry College.
