Jesus J. Martinez Jr., a 45-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on April 15, 2020, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Martinez was shot near 2848 E. Cesar E. Chavez Ave. The incident occurred in the evening, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The shooting left the community in shock and mourning, as Martinez was known to be a well-liked individual in his neighborhood.
