Amir Sims, a 13-year-old male, Black / African American, was shot on the evening of July 19, 2025 in North Charleston and later died from his injuries; Amir Sims, age 13, was taken from the scene to the Medical University of South Carolina and was pronounced dead after suffering a gunshot wound.
