Antonio Sykes, 18, a Black/African American male, was found shot inside a vehicle in a Cordova parking lot near the intersection of Berryhill Road and Chimneyrock Boulevard around 5:40 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025. Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and paramedics from Shelby County Fire pronounced him dead at the scene after discovering the wounded teenager in the parked car.
