In the late afternoon of Friday, August 22, 2025, the life of 18-year-old Antonio Sykes, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a Cordova, Tennessee, parking lot. Around 5:40 p.m., deputies from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the vicinity of Berryhill Road and Chimneyrock Boulevard, where they discovered Sykes inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.
