Timmy Jaurice Moore, a 33-year-old Black male from Statesville, North Carolina, died on June 14, 2025, after being shot near Deaton Street by Abernathy Ball Field shortly before 12:45 p.m. Officers responding to reports of gunfire found him in a nearby front yard with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen and legs.
