Allen Bruce Alexander, a 55-year-old man from Statesville, North Carolina, was found dead on August 18, 2020. His body was discovered at a homeless camp located in a wooded area off I-40 westbound near exit 148. The Statesville Police Department responded to a call for shots fired in the area at approximately 2:50 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located the body of Allen Bruce Alexander.
