Jacob Ray Williamson, 37, a male identified as Black / African American, was found shot to death late on the night of June 26, 2025, in the Shannon community of Robeson County, North Carolina. Within days, investigators arrested a 17-year-old suspect and charged the juvenile with first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and shooting inside an enclosure to incite fear; the youth was ordered held without bond at the Cumberland Regional Juvenile Detention Center. On July 8, 2025, Ann Marie Locklear, 28, of Maxton, was taken into custody with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Fugitive Task Force, and Christopher Locklear, 19, of Raeford, surrendered the same afternoon. Each faced first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and felony conspiracy charges; in Christopher Locklear’s case, investigators also added discharging a firearm within an enclosure to incite fear. Authorities said these arrests brought the total to five suspects—two adults an additional adult and two juveniles—linked to the fatal shooting and robbery of Jacob Ray Williamson, 37. The adults were held without bond at the Robeson County Detention Center, and the juveniles were confined at the regional juvenile facility.
