On June 9, 2025, Thomas Richard Walsh, age 52, male, of Shannon, North Carolina, was found with a gunshot wound after deputies with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call around 7:07 p.m. in the 200 block of Pluto Drive. He was transported to UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, where he died from his injuries. Authorities described the incident as stemming from a domestic dispute.
