On the evening of June 30, 2025, Jesus Carranco, a 34-year-old male from Albemarle, North Carolina, was found fatally shot inside a home on the 1600 block of Amhurst Street. Officers with the Albemarle Police Department were dispatched just after 5:30 p.m. to what investigators described as a domestic dispute. Inside, they discovered two men—Jesus Carranco, 34, and Lucio Carranco, 33—who were pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.
