J’Veon Jones, age 19, male, Black/African American, was fatally shot on the night of July 22, 2025. Shortly before 10 p.m., officers responded to the Gates Mills Place Apartments on Mayfield Road in Mayfield Heights, where they found J’Veon Jones, age 19, male, lifeless in a fourth-floor hallway.
