David Anthony Boone, 53, a Black male, was found just after dawn on October 16, 2025, lying in the front yard of a home on the 4200 block of East 128th Street in Cleveland’s Union-Miles/Corlett area. Police were called at 5:04 a.m. for reports of a man shot; responding officers and EMS located Boone with a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner later identified him by name, fixing the date and place of death that morning.
