In what began as a dispute between acquaintances, 30-year-old Savon Shabazz Miller, a Black male, was shot and killed on the evening of Thursday, August 7, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The fatal encounter took place at an apartment complex located in the 5100 block of N. Brookline Ave. Miller, originally from Warner Robins, Georgia, had relocated to Oklahoma City to live with his girlfriend after having spent some time in Las Vegas.
