In the early morning hours of January 4, 2022, a dispute outside a home in southwest Oklahoma City turned deadly, claiming the life of 31-year-old Clarence Leamon Ollison. A Black male, Ollison was involved in a confrontation in the 2500 block of SW 64th Street when gunfire erupted.
Responding to the call at approximately 2:43 AM, police officers discovered Ollison at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead. Investigators learned that the shooting stemmed from the altercation that had taken place outside the residence.
The Oklahoma City Police Department opened a homicide investigation into Ollison's death, which was noted as the city's third homicide of 2022. Despite their efforts, authorities have not yet made any arrests in connection with the fatal shooting. The case remains open, and police have appealed to the public for any information that might lead to the identification and apprehension of a suspect or suspects.
