Anthony Lee White, 58, a male who was Black/African American, was found shot to death on August 13, 2025, inside a room at the Sleep Inn on Commerce Parkway in Garner, North Carolina. Another hotel employee discovered Anthony Lee White, 58, that afternoon just before 4 p.m., and responding deputies from the Johnston County Sheriff's Office found him with a fatal gunshot wound. Investigators said Anthony Lee White, 58, lived and worked at the hotel where he was killed.
