Jah'Breel Russell, 24, a Black/African American male, died on August 30, 2025, in Salisbury, North Carolina. In the pre-dawn hours, police were called to a reported home invasion and shooting in the 300 block of Klumac Road. Responding officers arrived around 2:13–2:15 a.m. and found Jah'Breel Russell, age 24 and identified by authorities and subsequent obituary notices as Jah'Breel Kazarian Russell, deceased inside the residence.
