Emerson Truitt Roebuck, a 71-year-old man from Salisbury, NC, was tragically shot to death on October 19, 2019. He was discovered in his home on West Kerr Street by his roommate, who heard gunshots and found Roebuck in the living room. Despite being rushed to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center, Roebuck succumbed to his injuries.
