Tahriq Thompson, 34, a Black/African American male from Brooklyn, was shot just before 3 a.m. on June 29, 2025, near Riverdale Avenue and Osborn Street in Brownsville. He suffered a gunshot wound to his right arm, was rushed by medics to Brookdale University Hospital, and was pronounced dead shortly after.
