Anthonaya Campbell, 17, a female, was struck by gunfire during a basketball tournament at Haffen Park in the Baychester section of the Bronx on the evening of August 23, 2025, and died of her injuries at the hospital on September 8, 2025. She had been an innocent bystander when shots erupted around 7:30 p.m., according to prosecutors and police.
