On a Monday afternoon in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, 39-year-old Gloria Ortiz was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on February 7, 2022, on East 137th Street near Cypress Avenue.
