Aaliyah Alder, a 21-year-old aspiring model from the Bronx, New York, tragically lost her life on March 27, 2017. She was found with a single gunshot wound to her head in the eighth-floor stairwell of the Forest Houses on Tinton Avenue in the Morrisania section of the Bronx. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on a Monday night. Alder had just left work and was visiting friends at the apartment building when the fatal shooting took place.
