Davida Grant, a 42-year-old woman from the Bronx, New York, tragically lost her life on October 26, 2015, in what authorities have described as an apparent murder-suicide. According to police reports, officers responded to a call about shots being fired in an apartment on East 159th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Davida Grant with a gunshot wound to her chest and a 47-year-old man, identified as Charles Addison, with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
