In the early hours of a Tuesday morning, just after midnight on July 22, 2025, the life of 33-year-old Michael Howard of Newark, New Jersey, was brought to a violent end. Howard, a male, was inside his white Chrysler 300 on the 300 block of Avon Avenue when gunfire erupted. Responding to reports of the shooting, Newark police officers discovered Howard in his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
