Death by Force

On June 21, 2025, Floyd Scroggins, a 64-year-old male from Shreveport, was found on the 4100 block of Crosby Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers and first responders tried to save him at the scene, but Floyd Scroggins, age 64, died of his injuries. The shooting unfolded in the afternoon, with police dispatched around 2:50 p.m., and detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit processed the area as a homicide, beginning the search for whoever pulled the trigger.
