In the early hours of June 15, 2025, a fatal shooting in Duluth's Central Hillside neighborhood resulted in the death of 37-year-old Cody Thomas Telega, a White / Caucasian male. The incident occurred just after 1:30 a.m. near the entrance of his apartment building at 117 East 3rd Street. Responding officers found Telega with multiple gunshot wounds.
