In the early morning hours of September 22, 2019, a tragic series of events in Duluth, Minnesota, culminated in the death of 33-year-old Timothy Jon Nelson, a Caucasian male. The incident, which would later be described by authorities as a drug deal turned robbery and ultimately a retaliatory homicide, began when Nelson drove a female acquaintance to purchase methamphetamine from a man named Christopher Floyd Boder.
