Davante Steadman, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life following a drive-by shooting in Chicago, Illinois, on September 21, 2022. The incident occurred in the Garfield Park neighborhood, specifically in the 3800 block of West Gladys Avenue. Davante was standing with another 16-year-old boy when a vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire.
