Timothy Jack McCoy, a 16-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on January 3, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois. His death was caused by multiple stab wounds to the chest. McCoy was the first known victim of John Wayne Gacy, a notorious serial killer who murdered at least 33 young men and boys between 1972 and 1978.
