Raymond Myles, a 66-year-old Cook County Associate Judge, was shot and killed on April 10, 2017, outside his home on Chicago’s South Side. The incident occurred around 4:10 a.m. when Myles responded to a commotion involving his female companion, who had been shot in the leg during an attempted robbery. The judge confronted the assailant and was subsequently shot multiple times on his porch. Both Myles and the injured woman were taken to Advocate Christ Hospital, where Myles was pronounced dead ...
