Meshach Richardson, a 35-year-old African American man from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost his life on September 27, 2021. The incident occurred at a South Side hookah lounge in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood. Richardson was participating in a card game when an altercation arose due to his habit of spitting while talking.
