Walter L. Wright, a 17-year-old male, was fatally shot on January 16, 2015, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. in the 5800 block of South Western Avenue in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. Wright, who was standing on a sidewalk, was approached by an unknown offender who fired multiple shots. He sustained gunshot wounds to the chest, right arm, right leg, and buttocks. Wright, who resided in the 5300 block of South May Street, was pronounced dead at 8:09 p.m.
