Described as 'lightning in human form,' Oliver's boundless energy and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He was a first-grade student at Rockridge Academy, where he was cherished by his peers and teachers alike. Oliver had a deep affection for his guinea pig, Alfred, his dog, Mika, and enjoyed activities like playing with Legos, exploring Minecraft, and spending time with his
older brother. His constant companion was Chase, a beloved stuffed dog.
Oliver shared a close bond with his mother, Kathryn Ramsland, a faculty member in the arts department at Lake Superior College. Their relationship was marked by mutual adoration and companionship. He also looked up to his father, Anthony Nephew. Tragically, both Oliver and his mother were victims of a devastating incident in which Anthony Nephew, amid struggles with mental health, took their lives before ending his own. This event also claimed the lives of Oliver's half-brother, 15-year-old Jacob Nephew, and Jacob's mother, Erin Abramson, at a separate residence.
