In the warm spring of 2025, a burst of violence shattered the peace of a Baltimore neighborhood, leaving a young man fatally wounded. Thomas Barnes, a 28-year-old Black male, was found shot on the afternoon of May 24, 2025. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Heaver Street, a residential area that became the scene of a tragedy.
