Thomas Barnes, a 28-year-old man, was shot on the afternoon of May 24, 2025, in East Baltimore. Officers were called around 3:41 p.m. to the 400 block of Heaver Street, where they found him with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics rushed him to a local hospital, and because of the severity of his injuries, homicide detectives were notified to take over the case.
