On a late Monday evening in Baltimore, the life of Tommy L. Mason Jr., a 54-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On October 10, 2022, officers responded to a shot spotter alert in the 2600 block of East Chase Street just before midnight. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Mason suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite the immediate response from medical personnel, Tommy L. Mason Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Baltimore Police Department's homicide detectives were called in and have since assumed control of the investigation into his death. At this time, there has been no public information released regarding any suspects or arrests made in connection with this case.
