In the late evening hours of Friday, December 12, 2025, 19-year-old Nathaniel Tarleton was fatally injured in a violent incident in the Barclay neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. Police officers patrolling the Northern District were alerted to the situation by a ShotSpotter notification, which detected gunfire on the 500 block of East 26th Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders discovered Tarleton suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical personnel immediately attended to the teenager, transporting him to a nearby hospital for urgent care. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Tarleton succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased shortly after his arrival. His death was recorded as one of several homicides occurring in the city during that week, marking another loss for the community.
