Tayvon Rashard Cokley, a 23-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically killed on December 5, 2016. The incident occurred in broad daylight near Lexington Market, a busy area in downtown Baltimore. Cokley had just left a hospital after visiting a family member who was a victim of another violent crime when he was shot around 1 p.m. in the 100 block of N. Eutaw Street. The shooting was described by police as a "brazen murder in broad daylight".
