On a late Friday morning, the bustling area outside a CVS in Temple Hills, Maryland, became the scene of a chilling and deliberate act of violence that claimed the life of Anthony Bullock, a 23-year-old Black/African American male from Washington, D.C. The events of May 30, 2025, unfolded with a shocking suddenness that left the community reeling. Witnesses recounted a disturbing sequence where the assailant approached Bullock, engaged him in a handshake, and then, without warning, produced a
handgun and fired multiple shots at close range. The gunman reportedly stood over Bullock to continue shooting before making an escape, leaving a scene of chaos as shoppers and workers sought cover.
Responding to reports of gunfire shortly after 10 a.m., Prince George's County police officers arrived at the 7000 block of Allentown Road to find Bullock on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
