Mileena Brown, 20, a Black/African American woman, was shot and killed just after 1 a.m. on May 15, 2025, during a confrontation on Chicago’s South Side. According to police and the Cook County medical examiner, an argument among a group of women near the 7800 block of South Eberhart Avenue escalated when a man approached on foot and opened fire, striking Brown twice in the face. She was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead a short time later. ...
