Derricka Patrick, a 29-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on January 12, 2022, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Derricka, who was pregnant at the time, was sitting in a parked car when two gunmen approached and opened fire. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 7400-block of South Vincennes Avenue.
